OJK plans a QRIS-like app to check before payment or transfer
OJK's Dicky Kartikoyono said OJK plans an anti-scam app like QRIS to check whether a firm or payment is legal first. OJK will also push "check before payment" and "check before transfer".
NoteOJK is reaching for infrastructure people already use daily, QRIS, so a fraud check could reach existing bank and e-wallet apps faster than a standalone tool would.
