Cohere introduces North 2, an agent platform built for regulated industries

Cohere introduced North 2, an upgrade to its enterprise AI platform with a new agent orchestration system that manages complex, multi-step processes on its own, memory, shared libraries and connectors to tools such as Slack and Jira, plus planned financial data providers including PitchBook, FactSet and S&P Global. The platform is model agnostic, deploys on-premises, in the cloud or air-gapped, with guardrails at the individual agent level, and LG CNS and Bell Cyber already run it in production.
NoteThe planned connectors to FactSet, S&P Global and PitchBook point the platform at banks, asset managers and dealmakers who want agents pulling live financial data without sending it to a vendor they do not control, and the air-gapped option is Cohere's pitch to security-conscious, regulated firms.
