Anthropic asks D.C. appeals court to rehear Pentagon blacklisting case

Anthropic is asking a federal appeals court in Washington, D.C. to rehear its appeal of the Pentagon's blacklisting of its AI models, CNBC reports. The Defense Department labeled the company a supply chain risk in March. NoteThe label blocks defense contractors from using Anthropic's technology in their work with the agency. For finance teams that work with defense contractors, a government designation of an AI vendor can reach their own supply chain.
