Nscale backers reportedly balk at a $30 billion IPO valuation target

Bloomberg News reported, citing sources familiar with the matter, that some Nscale backers are balking at an IPO goal of around $30 billion. They are reportedly suggesting $16 billion to $19 billion instead. Microsoft said it is pulling out of a data center agreement, citing delays related to power constraints.
NoteThe pushback comes as SEC comments on Nscale's filing are still being worked through, with no decisions made. Bloomberg also says sentiment around AI infrastructure companies has soured as borrowing costs have increased.
