Santander's AI lab uses Nvidia to evaluate models for banking tasks
Santander’s AI lab has teamed with Nvidia on capabilities for evaluating AI models and agents for banking. Its “Model Arena” evaluates open-weight models against banking tasks. In one experimental customer-service use case, the companies say a more efficient model lowered costs by more than 50%.
NoteThe bank says it is moving from large general-purpose models toward smaller, specialised ones. The cost figure comes from one experimental use case and is the companies' own claim.
