World announces World ID for AI agents in banking and finance
The company on Sunday announced World ID for banking and finance, the iris-scanning project of Sam Altman. The company says it helps businesses determine whether an AI agent moving money or shopping acts for an actual person. AgentKit, the tool that does this, is in beta.
NoteThe question is whether an AI agent acting for a person can be told apart from anonymous automated traffic. World presents its proofs as trust infrastructure for that.
