Anthropic moves the Opus 4.6 text watermark to November 16
According to The Decoder, Anthropic emailed API customers about a second round of watermark retrofits. Claude Opus 4.6 should have gotten the watermark on November 3, and text watermarking now starts November 16 for Opus 4.6, Opus 4.5, Sonnet 4.5 and Haiku 4.5. The Decoder says Anthropic confirms the delay and gives no reason.
NoteTeams relying on the watermark should check the new date, and keep sampling settings at their defaults, because the mark only applies at those settings on this wave.
