Surveyed companies automate an average 73% of accounts receivable processes

PYMNTS Intelligence research with JPMorgan finds surveyed companies automate an average 73% of accounts receivable processes, compared with 55% in the previous year's survey. AI agents are processing purchase orders and preparing collections work as businesses automate more of the steps between a B2B sale and payment.

NoteThe 73% comes from a survey of companies, so it measures reported automation and says little about results.

OpenAI restructures its Model Spec around five core values

According to The Decoder, OpenAI has restructured its public behavior guidelines for AI models, the Model Spec, around five core values. The spec puts more weight on correctability for agents and says GPT must not block oversight, correction, or shutdown.

NoteFor banks testing agents, the spec's focus on correctability is the part to watch. The Decoder also notes that whether models follow these rules is another matter.
