The Singapore capital-markets AI firm closed a $9 million round with Japan's Asset Management One (AM-One), a Mizuho Financial Group unit that manages more than $500 billion. AM-One is taking a minority stake and will distribute equity investment products in Japan built on Blue Fire AI's neuro-symbolic decision engine, which the company says has a seven-year live investment track record.
NoteA $500 billion asset manager buying into a Singapore AI vendor, rather than just licensing its software, is a stronger signal of trust than a typical vendor deal, and shows Japanese asset managers looking to Southeast Asia for investment-decision technology.
