Thai remittance fintech DeeMoney picks SEON for real-time fraud checks

DeeMoney, a Bank of Thailand-licensed cross-border payments fintech that has processed more than 260 billion baht across 515 million transactions since 2017, selected SEON to run real-time fraud screening, transaction monitoring and AML checks across its transfers to more than 85 countries. SEON migrated DeeMoney's existing fraud rules from its previous vendor without disrupting live operations.
NoteRemittance is a volume business where a fraud rule change can slow every transfer, so the appeal is consolidation: one system for screening, scoring and AML instead of several bolted together. Expect more Southeast Asian remittance players to make the same trade as AML expectations tighten.
