Mastercard ties Agent Pay to its OpenAI deal and signs a Tencent MoU
Mastercard CEO Michael Miebach said on the Oct. 29 earnings call that a broad OpenAI agreement includes Agent Pay and "goes well beyond" it. On Nov. 2, Mastercard signed a memorandum of understanding with TenPay Global, Tencent's cross-border payment platform, to explore agentic payments.
