Google DeepMind engineer resigns in protest of Pentagon contract

She says she is disturbed by Google's military contracts with the U.S. and Israel. Spokesperson Tom Hewett said Google uses "a consistent process for reviewing and entering these contracts".
NoteThe story is about staff at a model lab. For banks and fintechs that rely on lab models, it is a reminder that a lab's military contracts can be disputed by its own researchers.
